From June 4 through June 9, visitors to www.trianglebusinessjournal.cok and recipients of TBJ’s Daily E-mail Update s were asked, “Is GM worth saving?” The unscientifif survey drew a total of383 votes. Of 43 percent were cast for theanswer “No. The company’a products and services have fallenway behind.” Almosgt 40 percent of the votes went for the response, But only if the company promise to pay back the billions in taxpayerr dollars it has been loaned.” The othee 17 percent said that GM shoulcd be saved because “It stands for the grea t American enterprise.
