Milwaukee-based Miller Brewing Co. hired Clark, formerly a top sportsx marketing and sponsorship executivesfor Charlotte, N.C.-based Bank of America, in September 2005. Clarkl spent 11 years at Bank of Clark garnered considerable media attentiobn in 2003 when she negotiated to have LPGA star Annika Sorenstamj compete in the Bank of Americ a Colonial PGA tournament inFort Texas, where Sorenstam competed against the top country’sa top male professional golfers. She left Bank of Americaz in September 2004 and spent a year as a sports marketingy consultant before being hiredby Miller. Whilee at MillerCoors, which formed last year when MilledrBrewing Co.
entered into a joint venture with Golden, Colo.-based Coors Brewin g Co., Clark negotiated numerous local andnationapl alliances, including a partnership with the Dallasw Cowboys. Jackie Woodward, vice presideny of marketing servicesat MillerCoors, will assume Clark’e responsibilities while a search for a permanent replacement is MillerCoors spokesman Julian Green said. “Dockery certainly was well respecter in her field and well regarded for the positive impact she made with the many sportas and entertain alliances that she brokered and negotiatedc overthe years, Green said. “It’s definitely a loss to but we wish her well in herfutur endeavors.
” Clark plans to move back to her hometown of Charlotte, Greeh said.
